Rough Day

Well, our bubble burst yesterday! The job offer Michael got on Friday was retracted today due to a glitch in company policy. Turns out that the job offer was in a region too far from Michael's current one and there is no way of getting around this policy. So, we are going to have to be patient a little longer and work hard to get a job offer within the boundaries the company will allow. We are devastated to say the least and feel that we just can't seem to catch a break in life. We are trying to be positive though because everything happens for a reason and God has other plans for us apparently. We have a few ideas of why God is keeping us here a little longer and we do feel and see the blessings of it. Our Heavenly Father is the only one that knows our plan and sometimes we have to practice patience and know that he knows what he is doing. It is not always easy, but it is always worth it!

Big News!

Hello! This is my first blog entry. I thought this would be a perfect time to start a blog because our family is starting a whole new adventure and chapter in our lives.
Friday 7/3/09, Michael got a job offer in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is still with Lowe's but will be in a higher management position with a significant increase in salary. We have been hoping for this job promotion and move for over 6 months. The funny part is that we just moved into a bigger house (rent) on Monday an than got the call on Friday that we are moving from Idaho to Texas. We are guessing that we wll be on our way to Texas and our new lives in about 2 weeks but will know more tomorrow hopefully on all the details.
